How Does Heritage Children work

As salt and light we are to show the world the living Christ within us to the Arrows we mentor. The following are reminders that we are all hard pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair, persecuted but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed – always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

Therefore, as we mentor the youth let us show them our motivations so that they may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ (Eph 4:15):

Love                            Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith (I Tim 1:5)

Compassion                Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing. (1 Peter 3:8-9)

Grace                          but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. (2 Peter 3:18)

Mercy                         But God who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with He loved us, even when we where dead in trespasses, made us alive together which Christ (by grace you have been saved) (Eph 2:4-5)

No condemnation      how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory. ( II Cor 3:8-9).

No pressure               and said, "Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matt 18:3)

Teaching                    Hold on to the pattern of right teaching you learned from me. And remember to live in the faith and love that you have in Christ Jesus. (2 Tim 1:13)

Accountability           Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.  (I John 3:7)
