The Heritage Children staff is a dedicated team working to ensure that each youth, mentor, and volunteer experience with Heritage Children is professional, responsive and supportive.
Bobbi Kloss - Founder & President is responsible for the development of the organization. I am a former Human Resource Consultant with experience in business management, training and development, program development and human relations. My community work includes a background of providing mentoring services to teens and adults in crisis pregnancy situations through Crisis Pregnancy Center, Houston, Texas; former youth leader in my church; co-led Forgiven and Set Free – a Christian based post-abortive bible study; was a mentor to teen age parents in the Humble Independent School District; co-founder and President of Teenage Parent Program Scholarships, Inc. (TAPPS) a former not for profit organization established for the purpose of providing basic need funds to teenage parents who graduated high school and continued their education through traditional and vocational education; former AWANA leader; and volunteer at Texas Justice Foundation. My testimony includes an adolescent lifestyle as a high-risk child who in my adult years came to acknowledge the saving grace of Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior. It is through those events that I developed a love for working with youth so that they may know the love of the Lord and have a solid foundation and support system for making choices that affect the rest of their lives. I am a sole parent of teenage son, Matt, of whom I am extremely proud! I have 2 dogs (Midnight & A. B) 1 cat (Mr. Beautiful) and love shoes.
Kira McCloskey - Administrative Assistant (team spirited & organized) Hello everyone! I’ve worked at Heritage Children for about a year after being a mentor with a young adult from the foster care system. I help with organizing the office, case management, fundraising and much more. I am married to a wonderful man named Karl and we have 2 cats Luke and Londyn. I also attend UTSA majoring in biology. My hobbies and interest include interior decorating, shopping, painting, acting/theatre, the beach, traveling and being with my friends. We have lived in San Antonio for about 4 years and really enjoy the city. I enjoy working at Heritage Children, because Heritage Children works on making a better tomorrow!

Anne Holliday - Client Services Coordinator (a shining force) Welcome to Heritage Children. The Lord has placed me with this wonderful organization since the beginning..2003! My title is “Client Service Coordinator” which I thoroughly enjoy. Having a degree in recreational administration, recreational therapy and several hours toward a masters in counseling has given me some of the tools needed to serve in this capacity. When not involved with Heritage Children I attend Bandera Road Community Church, rescue homeless cats and dogs (any one looking to adopt?), work as a certified Doula, swim, eat Mexican food and spend time with family and friends. Being apart of Heritage Children gives me an opportunity to give to others as he has given to me!

Heritage Children provides mentors to the youth from our foster care partners

St. Peter – St. Joseph Children’s Home
We solicit participation from community events to provide activities in furtherance of developing a bond, fostering the relationship and providing added value. Our youth have day-camped and experienced the Rope Course with T-Bar M Ranch and enjoyed hunting and fishing camps with partners Christian Outdoor Alliance and Cross Trail Outfitters.
Our community revitalization projects are focused on teaching our youth to be good stewards of the community surrounding them. As they learn to value themselves they in turn learn to value their surroundings and their relationships. Our projects include a mural project at Trinity & Guadualpe; community garden at Basicalla of Little Flower; clean-up of McAllister Park. |
